Saptakoshi River is major river flowing into the Koshi River basin. It is flows from Tibetan mountains at an altitude of 5,646 metres. Fishing is main enterprise on the saptakoshi river but the fishing resources are being depleted and the younger fishermen are leaving for other areas of work

Arun River

Arun River belongs to Koshi river system that flows in the Eastern Nepal. The easiest way to get to the river is fly to Tumlingtar. This spectacular river Arun is only available for those undertaking an expedition.

 As per the Hindu legend the Trisuli River orginated by Lord Shiva driving his trident (in Nepali 'Trisul') in the hill just above the Gosainkunda to creat three springs when he needed a cool rast in the Lake Gosainkunda.

Rafting in Seti River

River Seti can be reached from Damouli roughly 160 kilometers (5 hours by tourist bus) west of Kathmandu. Rafters encounter several rapids before reaching Trishuli River. Hindu religious site Devghat marks the confluence of Kali Gandaki and Trishuli and becomes River Narayani. Rafters have a choice of either coming back to Kathmandu or continuing the journey to visit the Chitwan National Park.

Yala Sambat 5020

Margh 1st – new year colebration of Kirati, Prayer of earth and nature, celebrate new year with the rember of their ancient king “Yalambar” . So, the title is called “Yala”.Yala called Yalamber.

In this day people boiled "Tarul (Root food)". According to the Bairage Kaila, Kirati used to take 43 types of species of root food. Among the cost of Kirati, Rai, Limbhu,, Sunuwar and Yakha had plays vital role to take legamate of their sambat. Rai says Yale Dong, Limbhu says Tanngbay and Sunuwar says Thochew for their new year.
