Meditation is a mental control by which one attempts to get further than the conditioned, "thinking" mind into a deeper status of recreation or awareness. It often involves turning concentration to a single point of reference.

Meditation is documented as a component of almost all religions, and has been practiced for over 5,000 years. It is also practiced outside religious traditions. Different thoughtful disciplines encompass a wide range of spiritual and/or psychophysical practices which may emphasize different goals -- from achievement of a higher state of consciousness, to greater focus, creativity or self-awareness, or simply a more relaxed and peaceful frame of mind. The word meditation originally comes from the Indo-European root med-, meaning "to measure." From the root med- are also derived the English words mete, medicine, modest, and moderate. It enter English as meditation through the Latin meditatio, which at first specify every type of physical or intellectual exercise, then later evolved into the more specific meaning "contemplation."

Traditional and native knowledge has been used for centuries by indigenous and local communities under local laws, customs and traditions. Fundamentally, they follow the Ayurvedic, ethno-botanical, ethno-traditional, tantrik, spiritual and Amchi knowledge. As described in Ayurveda, the Himalayan herbs and medicinal plants are used for healthy body and happy mind. These are used in different forms such as toiletries and cosmetics, incense and aromatic substances, health promoting agents, supplements and medicines, natural manures, pesticides, environmental cleaning and protection, food, food additives and drinks, etc.

More than 80 per cent of the total populace of the country motionless relies on Ayurveda and Ayurveda based traditional medicine. Ayurveda and the traditional medical knowledge and practices are common in the communities and are totally dependent on locally available medicinal herbs, knowledge, technology and their application. It has deep history in taxonomical, pharmacological, and clinical studies of drugs. It is still the primary form of treatment and is extensively used.

Margh 1st – new year colebration of Kirati, Prayer of earth and nature, celebrate new year with the rember of their ancient king “Yalambar” . So, the title is called “Yala”.Yala called Yalamber.

In this day people boiled "Tarul (Root food)". According to the Bairage Kaila, Kirati used to take 43 types of species of root food. Among the cost of Kirati, Rai, Limbhu,, Sunuwar and Yakha had plays vital role to take legamate of their sambat. Rai says Yale Dong, Limbhu says Tanngbay and Sunuwar says Thochew for their new year.
